Marlene, an interior designer and stylist, has a profound love for art, interiors and architecture. She has a particular affinity for sculptural objects and furniture that resembles art—functional art. In search of a page to fuel her inspiration, she decided to create one herself. With a library full of screenshot inspirations, she launched an instagram account to share these photos and inspire others. Within weeks, she attracted a significant following.

After years of working for other interior brands and as a project manager, Marlene launched her first small furniture collection in collaboration with the Norwegian brand By Bjørkheim in 2022. The collection quickly garnered attention and was featured in Vogue Scandinavia and Costume.

She has also been recognized as "one to follow" for the best interior inspiration by numerous magazines and platforms, including Artsper, Domino Magazine, Camille Styles, Ohara Interiors, Alexander & Co, Allude Cashmere and many more.

Through Collection by MZB, Marlene aims to support artists both nationally and internationally, from established to emerging talents, all bound by a shared essence: beautiful design.
