Whether layers of skin or brushstrokes, Dalel blends anonymous bodies and faces with pastel leaves that adorn each of her artworks. Nothing explicit, but instinct
expresses it well; she advocates a pictorial language where Man, stripped of his trappings, immerses - better than revolts - into the nature that cradled him.
Born on the shores of a Mediterranean rich in mixtures and vegetation, the artist-painter concentrates in her canvases and numerous other creations, the soul of her French dolce vita. As if to better discern it, to feel the breeze, her unique faces - with multifaceted facets - keep their eyelids closed. Hide from me this gaze...
