Paul Hellsegg
Paul Hellsegg is a Norwegian artist, painter and sculptor.
Paul's inspiration derives from the rich tapestry of nature, particularly drawing from Norwegian landscape and maritime culture. From this inspiration comes a unique aspect of Hellsegg's work, our physical laws at play. The shapes that emerge on both his originals and prints are not physically present on the surface, but appear through the spectator's retina, a testament to the interplay of color and perception.
Paul Hellsegg (b.1962, Oslo) has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute in New York City, and a double master’s in film and visual arts from the Art Institute of Chicago.
