Composed of two intersecting curved tubes, the Double Arch pendant is both a simple construction and an ever-changing composition. Two lines drawn in space – punctuated at each end with a dot of light – the design is sparse, and yet it manages to achieve a great sense of volume, as if each line contains all the space above and around it. Set in place on a central rod, the sweeping arch-shapes seem somehow animated, with each part spinning in slow rotation, one around the other, in a dance of sorts.
